Developer Notes

Teach your child proper phone usage and safety with an app that lets them actually practice it! DialSafe is designed to teach these critical skills in a kid friendly manner through the use of animated lessons, skill building games, practice sessions, and even a realistic phone simulator. Too often, these skills get over simplified to the point of teaching children to only remember the number 911. DialSafe helps provide a comprehensive learning experience in a safe environment where the child can both explore and learn.

DialSafe is used by teachers, police officers, and parents like yourself.

DOES YOUR CHILD KNOW…
• to press Talk (the green button) when dialing?
• how to hangup and recover from misdialing?
• in case of a fire, call 911 from a neighbors home?
• what to say if a stranger calls?

WHAT DOES THE PURCHASE BUY?
• Animated audio lessons on phone basics, 911, and strangers.
• Skill building games like memory to learn your home phone number.
• Realistic phone simulator that operates like a real phone. You can call 911, 411, 0, programmable numbers, wrong numbers, and more. Each of these numbers answer with real world dialogs.
• Programmable phone numbers. Add custom numbers like grandma’s or dad’s cell phone with optional recorded audio.
• Guided practice session for dialing 911 and home.
• Challenge sessions for testing the child on 911 and other programmable numbers.
• Did we mention a simulator that works like a real phone? 🙂
