Mad Math – Cool Math Drills app

Mad Math: Very good app to do the math drills. You can have your child do this once in the morning or whenever they have sometime.  The best part about this is they can do big 3 digit multiplication/divisions by doing their scratch work on the screen itself without needing a paper on the side. This makes it very easy to use no matter what the skill level of the kids is.  Can be customized to meet your child’s skill level.

This is one of the apps that I make sure my kid does everyday for for 10 mins a day to keep up with the math tables and keep brain sharp.

Area: Math Age: All Cost: Free
Customizable: Yes Platform: iPhone/iPad Rating: *****

Mad Math is perfect for kids to practice their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and Division Facts. Students can even draw right on the flashcard!

The lite version includes Flashcard Training for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and the iPad. Mad Math keeps track of the stats from multiple users. Each student gets a report of which facts they are struggling with and can even show off their progress via email. Each correct answer gets you closer to the next Mad Math Level.

Upgrade to the paid version for two new math games: Math Bingo and Bubble Math! Both of these games make the user use a different type of thinking.

I’m writing a review of a book called Sticks and Steps for multiplication and division. Very simple method, and it works with multidigit numbers too. Can be used in the blank space on this app to figure out the problem. I’ll explain better in my review!
